    Kathryn is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) licensed by the state of Tennessee Social Work Board. Kathryn graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2019 with a bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies. Kathryn went on to graduate with a master’s degree in social work with an interpersonal focus specializing in adult and geriatric populations. After graduating with her masters degree, she began working for a hospice agency that focused on residential and facility patients which allowed her to gain knowledge and experience working with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, care giver needs, and grief support to clients and their families.

    Kathryn feels it is important that she offers a space that is an inclusive environment for all individuals with an affirming space for the LGBTQIA+ community. She takes a non-traditional approach to therapy sessions. Kathryn uses a person-centered approach to first and foremost cultivate a genuine connection with the desire of empathy and compassion for oneself and others. She believes that each client is unique in their journey and therefore each clients therapeutic approach is different to facilitate their particular growth and healing. Kathryn is passionate about helping others in areas of religious trauma, life transitions, grief support, terminal illness, and care giver support. Her focus is to help adults overcome life challenges.
