Jamie discovered yoga over a decade ago as a way to support her emotional and mental well-being. What began as a physical outlet quickly became a deeply healing practice, inspiring her to become a teacher. Since then, Jamie has dedicated herself to creating safe, inclusive spaces where individuals can reconnect with their bodies, breath, and inner resilience. Using a trauma-informed approach, Jamie teaches with empathy, patience, and deep respect for each person's unique experience. Her classes at KMWC are designed to be grounding and accessible, offering movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to support emotional regulation and overall mental health. Jamie works with a wide range of individuals across all ages and ability levels-from children to the elderly and from beginners to Olympic athletes-as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges. Her intention in every class is to guide students toward a greater sense of calm, self-awareness, and connection-both on and off the mat.
